I shall give a brief description of a Trust, Mahadeva Pattar Trust. This private trust
was formed after the demise of my father Sri. P. M. Chidambara Iyer with the main
object of conducting all religious festivals in Sri Viswanatha Swamy temple that
our family was doing from the time of our grandfather, Sri Mahadeva Pattar.
Now, I wish that this Trust undertake more responsibility. I had published in this blog
about KOTI ARCHANA to Vishalakshi Ambal.This is broken into 100 laksharchnai
and at a time one laksharchnai is conducted with 10 rithvics and each one of them chanting
Lalitha Sahasranamam 10 times on one day thus completing 1 lakh namavalis.
Laksharchanai will be on Sundays only. After the daily puja in the morning,
archana to Sri.Vishalakshy Amman will commence and will be over by 4.30 pm. before the sayamsandhya puja starts,with a break for food in between. While chanting the mantram,
Sivacharyar will be doing archana with flowers ans kunkumam to the deity.
Details will be worked out after consultation with the Trustees of Devaswam, Sivacharyar,ritwics
and others connected with this project.

Appa, I offer my service in all aspect to the Trust for performing all religious festivals and to this '100 lakharchana of Lalitha Sahasranamam equal to Koti archana". This is the first time I am going through the entire profile in details and find very interesting. This will help the generations in the family to understand the family story and I suggest more time to be devoted by all of us with you to learn more about such things.
